The Rishikesh Yog Peeth School, (located in the north of India), offers a variety of yoga teacher training programs; RYS 200 – RYS 300 – and RYS 500 hours.
The birthplace of Yoga, as it is often referred to, is a favourite destination for thousands of Yoga enthusiasts who are eager to experience the ancient Yoga discipline.
Rishikesh was born at the foot of the Himalayan mountain range and along the sacred Ganges river. This is where it all began…..we dreamt of being able to offer a similar experience in other parts of the world. We wanted to convey the style and traditions of this land by applying the same Yoga teaching methods adopted in India, and more specifically that of Hatha Yoga. Our goal was, and still is, to bring to Europe a viable alternative to those who can’t, or don’t necessarily want to reach the feet of the Himalayas.
Yogamea Yoga school promises the same level of attention and quality for the teaching and training of its students, offering the same benefits as would be obtained in Rishikesh.
Since 2014, Yogamea School has been offering 200 hours of an intensive Hatha Yoga Teacher Training program in Italy.
The full syllabus for the 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training course can be seen here.

Yogamea has come to understand that students appreciate this traditional “back to basics” approach. It puts them in touch with what many of their students will be needing for their future teaching experiences and helps them understand how to adapt and cater to all the different levels that will often be found in a group during a course.
